Partnering with Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company and Wreaths Across America, the team at Craftsmen Utility Trailer laid wreaths at National Cemeteries for the 2nd year in a row. Although some complications prevented us from personally laying wreaths at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery and Rock Island National Cemetery, we contributed wreaths to their locations to be laid by the local Wreaths Across America teams.
We donated and laid 1,500 wreaths in St. Louis to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Sikeston, MO received 300 wreaths and Rock Island National Cemetery received 200 wreaths. With our group of 30 Craftsmen employees (wearing masks and socially distanced), we laid all 1,500 wreaths in just under an hour. With less volunteers than average, we were asked to help assist another group with unloading and laying their wreaths – of which we graciously obliged.
Craftsmen and Utility originally teamed up in 2019 to donate to Wreaths Across America after having a few of our customers mention the organization to us. Our employees, vendors, and customers enjoyed the program and our participation so much that we carried on the tradition and hope to continue to do so for years to come.
Wreaths Across America is a national organization dedicated to Remember the Fallen, Honor those who Serve, and Teach our children the Value of Freedom. Each December, wreaths are laid across thousands of cemeteries.
The trucking industry has been a huge help in their efforts. Corporate Trucking Partners haul wreaths across the country to an ever-growing number of participating cemeteries.
There are so many different ways to get involved and give back to our fallen soldiers. Craftsmen is proud to be able to recognize and honor the men and women who have served and defended our great nation, providing us with the freedoms that we enjoy each and every day,
